Q: May I request a specific student or sponsor?
A: Yes, you may, and we will do our best to grant your request.
Q: What if I am only going to be there for part of the season?
A: We'll try to pair you with another sponsor who will be there when you are not.
Q: How will I meet my connections?
A: We will send you your students' names and information as soon as we can -- and you may contact them immediately. But you will certainly meet them at the Chautauqua Connections Opening picnic, from 5:30 to 7 on Tuesday, June 24, probably on the lawn between McKnight and Lenna Halls.
Q: Are there other Connections events in addition to the opening picnic?
A: Yes, there will be a potluck for students and sponsors under a tent on Bestor Plaza at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2008. Sponsors are asked to bring a dish (vegetable, meat, salad, or dessert) for 12+.
Q: Are there other ways to help?
A: Yes, by facilitating communication between School of Music and sponsors, with set up/clean up for opening picnic and potluck, at registration, and more.
